Description
Beginning wheel throwing will meet weekly on Thursday evenings for 8 weeks.
For beginners and those with some clay experience who want to deepen foundational throwing skills and learn new ones. Learning and practicing centering, shaping basic forms, trimming, pulling handles, decorating and glazing.
Up to 4 additional hours of independent studio time per week are included with tuition. Tuition cost is $360 including up to 25 lbs of clay.
It is suggested that students have their own tools. Tools are also available to borrow from the studio. Basic throwing tools can be purchased online, or at a clay supply company.
