Description

At The Handle Factory our goal is to create a safe, welcoming and accessible space for all people to work in clay. We recognize that there are systemic patterns, intentional and otherwise, that have severely limited access for people of color to participate in, and succeed in the arts.

In an effort to create equity and support those that have been affected by  historical oppression, disenfranchisement and systemic racism, we have introduced a program for those who identify as Black and Indigenous and are interested in learning to work in clay.  These students may sign up for any class at half tuition, with no income related requirements. If you identify as Black or Indigenous and would like to take advantage of this program in signing up for a class, please contact Molly at molly@mollycantor.com. If paying half tuition is prohibitive, please contact Molly and we will find a solution that works for you!
