Description
Intermediate wheel throwing will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings for 8 weeks.
This intermediate wheel throwing class looks to build on skills like centering and throwing simple forms and looks at techniques for going a bit larger, adding various kinds of lids and spouts, and exploring opportunities to combine wheel throwing and hand building. It is intended for people who have completed at least two wheel throwing classes.
Up to 4 additional hours of independent studio time per week are included with tuition. Tuition cost is $340 including up to 25 lbs of clay.
It is suggested that students have their own tools. Tools are also available to borrow from the studio. Basic throwing tools can be purchased online, or at a clay supply company.
