Description
Meets Fridays 10-12:30 for 8 weeks.
This daytime class is for people with some experience hand building with clay, who want to expand their skills and try some more advanced techniques- e.g., making lidded vessels large or small, building large garden planters, making a matching set of dinnerware (plates, mugs, bowls, serving dishes), or whatever project you’ve (secretly) wanted to do. Instructors will give demonstrations and provide support for independent projects.
Co-taught by Ann Gibson and Kim Erslev
Up to 4 hours per week of non-class independent studio time are included with class tuition. $360 includes materials. Class meets for 8 sessions.
Tools are available to borrow from the studio, and must be cleaned returned after each use. Basic tools can be purchased online, at a clay supply company, or through The Handle Factory.
