Meets Fridays 10-12:30 for 8 weeks.
This mixed level class will help you with the skills and resources to make handmade ceramic gifts for everyone on your list.
The focus of the class will be hand building, but instructors will support experienced throwers who would like to create vessels on the wheel.
There will be short weekly hand building demonstrations and lots of support of both functional and sculptural projects.
Up to 4 hours per week of non-class independent studio time are included with class tuition. $340 includes up to 25 lb of clay, glazes and firing. Class meets for 8 sessions.
Students are encouraged to have their own tools, but tools are available to borrow from the studio, and must be cleaned returned after each use. Basic tools can be purchased online or at a clay supply company.
