Meets Fridays 10-12:30 for 8 weeks.
Handbuilding for beginners and experienced potters who want to expand their skills and have fun!There will be short weekly demonstrations to learn the fundamentals of handbuilding for beginners, and lots of time to explore personal projects with technical help, for those with more experience.Functional and sculptural projects welcome.
Up to 4 hours per week of non-class independent studio time are included with class tuition. $360 includes up to 25 lb of clay, glazes and firing. Class meets for 8 sessions.
Students are encouraged to have their own tools, but tools are available to borrow from the studio, and must be cleaned returned after each use. Basic tools can be purchased online or at a clay supply company.
